BSNL Expects to Start 5G Service Trials


Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd, a public sector telecom company, is preparing to launch the 5G service in India by next year. This information was given by Anupam Shrivastav, Chairman and Managing Director of the Company. He told that Nokia has been talking to Nokia for launching 5G service in India. Simultaneously, BSNL, Larsen & Toubro and HP are in the Process of negotiating the 5G service equipment.

Free trial begins this year:

Shrivastav said that the field trial of this service will be started at the end of the current financial year i.e. March 2018. With this, BSNL has tied up with the Correion for 5G. The Corrient and BSNL have signed this agreement to improve the 5G service. Let me tell you that Corient is a packet optical, IP and main supplier of SDN. Also Shrivastava also said that the speed of the 5G network would be much higher than the 4G. If talking about BSNL, it has more than 7 lakh kilometers of optical fiber. It is Expected to be used to provide high-speed data.

Better connectivity between gadgets:

Earlier Samsung's officials had said that 5G would be like a very powerful Wi-Fi, which would transfer data from the speed of millions of times in the radius of a few kilometers. This will allow a significantly faster connectivity between different types of applications, machines and gadgets. For example, gadgets in your home will be able to control each other according to the need, by connecting. Cable TV will not need wires and content can be sent through a wireless device. Officials of Reliance Jio told that there is a lot of probability and improvement in LTE, but as far as we are concerned, we are ready to adopt and implement 5G.
